In an effort to produce as much of my work as possible from high quality local timber I have added a sawmill to my business. I purchase primarily birch logs from central newfoundland. I cut and dry the boards which eventually become pieces of heirloom quality furniture. I also love to salvage logs from trees that have to be removed in the urban environment. These logs always create unique lumber from a resource that would otherwise be used as firewood or left to rot.
